Electric scooters are becoming popular very fast in India. Especially companies are more focused on launching budget electric scooters. Now in this sequence, Bengaluru based electric scooter manufacturer Ather has launched its new electric scooter Ather Rizta in the Indian market. This electric scooter has been launched to compete with TVS iQube, Ola S1 and Hero Vida V1. The company has thoughtfully fixed the price of this e-scooter at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom), which makes it the strongest contender in its segment.

What is the price and range?
The base-spec Rizzta S is priced at Rs 1.10 lakh. Rizta Z variant is available with additional features and color options which is priced at Rs 1.25 lakh. Additionally, the top-end Rizzta Z is priced at Rs 1.45 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. The range of the variant that comes with the 2.9 kWh battery pack is 123 km, while the range of the 3.7 kWh battery pack model is claimed to be 160 km. The top speed of all variants is limited to 80 kmph.
How are the features?
The Ather Rizta S comes in three monotone colours, while the Rizta Z is available in seven colours, including three monotone and four dual-tone options. Apart from this, this electric scooter has two riding modes – Zip and SmartEco. In terms of safety, the Rizta comes with many features like traction control system, skid control system, emergency stop signal (ESS), theft and tow detect system.
It also has ride assist features like auto hold and reverse mode. Additionally, the base-spec model gets a 7-inch LCD display while the other two get a 7-inch TFT display.
Along with the scooter launch, Ather also introduced the Halo helmets, with the Halo Bit priced at Rs 4,999 and the Halo priced at Rs 14,999, with a discount of Rs 2,000 available on pre-order.
