Many people do not pay attention to such things and keep making mistakes. So, let us tell you how to use bike brakes and clutch in which situations…
The methods of using clutch-brake while riding a bike keep changing.
first position
If a sudden braking situation arises, both clutch and brake can be pressed simultaneously. The clutch and brake are usually used together in an emergency, as this is the most effective way to apply the brakes without damaging the mechanical parts of the bike. However, utmost care should be taken while applying brakes suddenly.
second position
If the bike is at high speed then it is better to press the brake first. Then if you feel that you have to stop the bike or the speed of the bike has reached the lowest level of the current gear (in which you are moving), then you will have to press the clutch and shift to a smaller gear. If you do not do this, the bike will stop.
To slow down a high speed bike, you should first press the brake.
third position
If you are riding the bike at normal speed and you feel that the bike needs a little braking, then just pressing the brake will do the trick. There is no need to use clutch for that. Brakes can only be used to slow down the bike or to avoid minor obstacles on the way.
Fourth position
If you are traveling at low speed and need to apply brakes, first press the clutch and then press the brake. Because if you press the brake first then the bike may stop. This can be done while riding in first or second gear.
