According to the information, there was an argument and abuse between Rahul Jat son Bharat and Rajan son Rajkumar Jatav, residents of village Rohta, on the road late in the evening over some issue. After this Rahul started fighting. When Rajan ran away and entered the house of village head Chandrapal, Rahul left after threatening him that he would suffer in some time. After this, he along with some of his friends went to the village head’s house and beat Rajan severely. During this time, they also had a scuffle with the village head who came to their rescue. After that all the attackers fled from the spot giving threats.
Police assured of strict action.
People of Jatav community gathered in large numbers along with women and reached Rohta police post and surrounded the post demanding arrest of the attackers. However, later the police returned the villagers after assuring them of action.
Rajan’s father Rajkumar has given a written complaint about the incident. Outpost in-charge Jitendra Singh says that the complaint has been received, on the basis of this the houses of the attackers have been raided who are still absconding. In any case, strict action will be taken against the attackers.
