Now Bajaj Auto, one of the country’s largest two-wheeler manufacturers, has also entered this race. Very soon the company is going to launch a bike which will have an engine but will not require petrol to run it. This bike of the company has recently been seen on the roads during testing and there are reports that it can be launched in India very soon.
Actually, after the electric scooter, the leading two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj is now preparing to launch a CNG-powered bike. If reports are to be believed, the company can launch this bike in India between April-June 2024. However, the company has not shared any official information related to the launch date.
What will be special in Bajaj’s CNG bike?
Bajaj’s upcoming CNG bike has been spotted several times during testing. During this time, its pictures are now going viral on the internet. According to reports, this bike has been given a long seat under which a CNG tank has been installed. To make filling CNG easier, a refilling valve has been provided on top of the fuel tank. A small petrol tank has also been provided to run the bike in emergency. The bike can be switched from CNG to petrol and back from petrol to CNG. For this, a switch is also available in it. If reports are to be believed, this bike looks like Platina. Features like digital fuel indicator, TFT screen and Bluetooth connectivity will also be seen in this bike.
What will be the mileage and price?
The mileage of this bike is going to be quite amazing. According to reports, Bajaj’s CNG bike will be capable of giving a mileage of about 70-80 kilometers in one kg of CNG. That means this bike will give almost double the mileage of a petrol bike. If this happens, this bike will be much cheaper to run than petrol. Bajaj’s CNG bike will compete with 110-125 cc bikes in the segment. It is expected that the company will launch it at an ex-showroom price of Rs 80,000-85,000.
