A vehicle hit a bike near village Kamalpur at night on Hathras Road in Sikandrau Kotwali area of Hathras. In the accident, a youth riding a bike died on the spot and another youth was seriously injured. Police sent the body for postmortem

26 year old Vikas Yadav, son of Rameshwar Dayal, resident of village Nagla Bihari in Hathras, was going towards his village from town Sikandrau along with Vinod, son of Udayveer from his own village. On the way, the vehicle hit the bike near village Kamalpur on Hathras Road. Vikas died on the spot. Vinod was seriously injured.
A crowd gathered at the spot. Police also reached there. Before this, the driver ran away from there with the vehicle. Both were brought to the Community Health Center of Sikandrau. From here Vinod was referred to Aligarh in critical condition. After being identified, his family members also reached there. Police sent the body for post-mortem. Apart from other family members, Vikas has left behind a crying 2-year-old girl.
