Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in the special program organized today at Khalsa Chowk, Alambagh and Gurudwara Patel Nagar in Lucknow on the occasion of 555th Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj. On this auspicious occasion he prayed to Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

In his address, the Chief Minister said that Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji gave the message of equality among all castes, religions and sects throughout his life. His teachings always inspire us to follow the path of love and compassion. He appreciated the contribution of the Sikh community and said that without their contribution the progress of the society is incomplete.
Kirtan and langar were also organized in this event, in which a large number of devotees and local citizens participated. The Chief Minister participated in Kirtan along with the devotees and expressed his reverence for Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
