The responsibility of checking all these proposed examination centers has been given to SDM, Magistrate and Tehsildar level officers. The list of centers will be finalized only after the report of the magistrates. DM held a meeting of officials for this and took stock of the preparations.
Colleges with bad records will be out
DM Visakh ji. Has instructed the officials that during the inspection of the centres, it must be seen how the basic facilities are arranged there. Basic facilities like ventilated and lighted rooms, drinking water, clean environment, toilets, electricity should be provided at all the centres.
Along with this, it will also be seen in the investigation whether any center has an old bad record. Atrauli Tehsil in Aligarh has been infamous by the name of Atrauli Board and was dominated by the copying mafia. After the coming of BJP government, the copying mafia has completely ended. But the administration continues to be strict in its investigations.
Instructions have been given to the officials that there should be no negligence in the investigation.
250 objections received at 149 centers
This year 1 lakh 4 thousand 272 candidates are registered in Aligarh. In the examination of 2025, 50943 candidates will appear in high school and 53329 candidates will appear in intermediate. Which is about 1600 less than last year. Last year, about 1 lakh 6 thousand 340 candidates were registered in the district.
A total of 149 examination centers were proposed for these candidates and objections were sought from all the people of the district. After which the department has received 250 objections. These objections will be resolved by the department and the centers will be investigated. The list of centers for the examination will be finalized only after the investigation is completed.
CCTV and voice recorder are mandatory
30 officers have been given the responsibility to inspect the centres. Along with this, instructions have been given that it is mandatory to have CCTV cameras and voice recorders at all the centres. Without this no center will be finalized.
During the board exams, surveillance will be done through cameras only. Instructions have been given to the officials for investigation that there should be no compromise with the quality and standards. Every officer will have to inspect 5-6 centers and submit his report to the department. If officials are to be believed, the investigation work will be done expeditiously after the elections.
