New Delhi. Indian electric vehicle manufacturing company Wardwizard Innovations and Mobility has started exporting its electric three-wheeler by entering the international market. The company had received this order from Belua International Development Corporation.
Under this, Wardwizard has sent its customized e-trike (driver plus 10 seats) to the Philippines. This vehicle has been manufactured under the company’s popular brands Joy e-Bike and Joy e-Rec.
Order worth 1.29 billion dollars received
Wardwizard had received an order worth $1.29 billion from Belua International. Under this, the company has designed this special e-trike keeping in mind the needs of public transportation in the Philippines. This vehicle has been developed under the Public Transport Modernization Program of the Government of the Philippines, which aims to replace old vehicles with eco-friendly electric vehicles.
Steps to public transportation in the Philippines
This e-trike is currently sent for testing with the aim of improving public transportation in the Philippines. Apart from this, Wardwizard will also send a consignment of its other electric vehicles to the Philippines for testing in February 2025. This testing will be done to ensure the suitability of the vehicles for the local market needs.
This step of WardWizard is very important under the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program of the Philippines Government. The goal of this program is to replace old and polluting vehicles with modern electric options.
