Almora: The wedding season has started, in such a situation many people look for makeup artists for their wedding. There are many makeup artists in Almora who do different types of makeup in weddings, sangeets and receptions. There are many famous makeup artists of Almora whom people book in advance to invite them to their wedding. Local 18 talked to some people about what packages these parlors offer regarding wedding makeup.
Bookings coming from other districts also
Make-up artist Sunil Tiwari Sam told that for women’s sangeet, make-up is done for ₹ 5000 to ₹ 10000, whereas for the reception also it costs almost the same amount. However, the cost of makeup in a wedding ranges from ₹ 10,000 to ₹ 20,000. People are getting a lot of bookings this season. Apart from this, people from Almora and other districts are also coming to book makeup.

Makeup artist Nisha Tamta told that for the wedding, normal makeup of the bride is done for the sangeet, wedding and reception for around ₹ 5000. Many times, according to the budget of the other person, it reaches from ₹ 7000 to ₹ 15000. It depends on the choice of the client and makeup is done as per his choice. A lot of bookings are coming this season also.
Cost varies
Makeup artist Meenakshi Aggarwal told that the cost of makeup varies. The rate of makeup here ranges from Rs 4500 to Rs 13000. There are different makeups in it. Like normal makeup, HD makeup, airbrush makeup etc. Makeup is done as per the demand of the customer. If these makeup artists go outside Almora, they start from Rs 8000. Whereas in local, makeup starts from Rs 7000.
