Elderly people had come to Meerut from Noida
75 year old Lakhmichand, a resident of village Chandna of Sardhana police station, was living with his son Arjun Prajapati in Sector 40 of Noida. A day before, on Monday, the old man had left home for a walk. The family members were searching for the old man. During this time the old man reached the gate of Modi Colony located in Modipuram.
People informed the police control room as it was winter season. PRV police reached the spot, took information and informed the local police. Modipuram outpost incharge Shilendra Singh, who reached the spot, took the information and as soon as he got to know about Chandna village, he informed the family members and reunited him with the old man in about 30 minutes. The police handed over the old man to the family members who reached the spot. The family members praised the working style of the outpost in-charge and expressed their gratitude.
