Hemlata Patel alleged that complaints were made to the electricity department regarding this problem several times over the years, but the department has not taken any action till now. He said that the Electricity Department had promised that the HT line would be removed, but it has not been completed till date.
A few days ago, school children had escaped a major accident when a high tension wire broke and fell. Before this, there have been incidents of death of a laborer and fire in a house.
Confidence in talks and solution with SE
During the protest, Hemlata Patel spoke to the SE on phone, and he assured to form a team and resolve the problem within 4 days. However, the organization warned that if no action was taken within 15 days, they would launch a massive agitation.
Superintending Engineer SK Lohat assured that he will look into the entire matter seriously and will take action to remove the line as per rules.

A large number of women including District President Sarla Singh, Rajrani, Suman, Rani, Vijma, Aamna, Kamlesh, Ranjana participated in this demonstration.
