The whole matter: Priyanka Singh (30), resident of Marauli village of Mataundh police station area, was murdered by her husband Sandeep alias Deepu Singh on Sunday by giving four-five blows with an ax below the neck and ear. After committing the crime he ran away from the spot.
CO City Rajeev Pratap Singh said that the police has arrested the murderer Deepu Singh from the village. The murder ax has been recovered from the spot. He said that during interrogation, the murderer told that he used to massage his two-month-old child with oil every day. On the day of the incident, he was sitting on the cot. When he asked his wife Priyanka to massage the child, she was not giving it. When she said this angrily, he put the children on the bed. After which, in anger, he attacked Priyanka four-five times with an ax kept nearby. Due to this he died on the spot. The police have arrested the accused.
