Dehradun. More than half of the month of November has passed but not a single drop of rain has fallen in the plains of Uttarakhand (Uttarakhand Weather Today), due to which the weather in these areas remains dry. Now gradually the fog has also started troubling us. Cold winds have started blowing from the mountains to the plains. Even though the sun is shining brightly during the day, there is chill in the morning and night. The weather pattern is going to change in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand in the coming days. There will be a continuous decline in temperature. If we talk about the weather of today i.e. 20th November, there will be dense fog in Udham Singh Nagar and Haridwar districts of the state. Dense fog may be seen in some areas of Dehradun. Yellow alert has been issued regarding fog.
Giving information, Dr Bikram Singh, Director of Meteorological Centre, Dehradun, said that there is a possibility of dense fog in Haridwar, Roorkee, Udham Singh Nagar and some areas of Dehradun in the coming days in the state. On Wednesday, November 20, the weather of all the districts of the state including the capital Dehradun will remain dry. Dense fog in the plains can cause problems for people in the morning. He said that from November 20 to November 22, a yellow alert has been issued regarding dense fog in Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts.
Dehradun’s minimum temperature is 10.2 degrees Celsius.
According to the information received from Meteorological Center Dehradun, on Tuesday the maximum temperature of Dehradun was recorded at 27.6 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 10.2 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of Pantnagar was 26.6 degrees and the minimum temperature was 9.0 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of Mukteshwar was 16.5 degrees while the minimum temperature was 5.2 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the maximum temperature of New Tehri was recorded at 18.6 degrees and the minimum temperature was 6.3 degrees Celsius. On Tuesday, the air quality index (AQI) of Dehradun was recorded at 114, which falls in the moderate category.
Dense fog can destroy crops
According to agricultural experts, excessive fog can cause damage to the fields because due to this, the internal functions of the plants get affected. Ears of wheat get broken due to fog. Although some people say that as the weather is dry these days, fog also works to provide moisture to the crops, but dense fog can destroy the crops.
