Bear terror is continuously increasing in Joshimath area. Bears are ever getting closer to human habitation. At around 1 pm on Wednesday afternoon, a bear cub reached the house in Parasari village in search of food. The bear cub put his mouth in the canister to eat something. But due to the small mouth of the canister, the bear’s head could not come out.
Freed the bear by cutting the canister
The bear reached the stairs of a house along with the canister, of which people made a video. For a long time the bear kept roaming here and there with its mouth in the canister. After which people informed the forest department. Gaurav Negi, Forest Officer of Nanda Devi National Park, said that as soon as the information was received, the Forest Department team immediately reached the spot. By 5 pm, the department’s team cut the canister, freed the bear and released it into the forest. He told that the age of the bear was around one year. He might have wandered from the forest or reached near human habitation in search of food. He was safe. He was not injured in any way.
