Champawat. A case of love jihad has come to light in Champawat, Uttarakhand. A young man from a particular community living in Assam started a conversation with a minor girl by revealing his Hindu name on Instagram. By befriending her, he trapped her in his love trap and then came to Champawat to meet her. The girl came to meet him. Local people suspected that the young man roaming with a minor girl of the area was an outsider. He informed the leaders of the Hindu organization about this. After which the young man was caught and then everything was revealed. The police have arrested the accused and sent him to jail.
According to the information received, the name of the accused youth is Rehan Ali (19). He had created an account on Instagram with the name Rohan Bisht. Through this account, he befriended a minor girl from Champawat and trapped her in his love trap. Not only this, Rehan came to Champawat from Assam to meet her. The girl told her mother that she was going out and would return after some time. After this both met. When the local people became suspicious after seeing an outsider boy with a minor girl, they informed the leaders of the Hindu organization.
When I saw the Aadhaar card, it was revealed
Hinduist leaders reached the spot and caught Rehan. On strict questioning, he revealed his name as Rehan and said that he was a resident of Haridwar. When his Aadhar card was checked, it was found that he was a resident of Assam. When the suspicion deepened, his mobile was checked and it was found that he had created an ID on Facebook in the name Chand Ali and his account on Instagram was created in the name Rohan Bisht. Obscene photos of women were also found in the mobile. Rehan was brought to Champawat police station.
Police sent the accused to jail
Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Mohit Pandey and his associates exposed the matter and handed over Rehan Ali to the police. A complaint was given to the police against the accused. Police said that a case has been registered against Rehan Ali in Champawat Kotwali under FIR number 55/24 under Section 74/318 (4) BNS, 7/8 POCSO Act and 66c Information Technology Act. After his arrest, he was produced in the court, from where he was sent to jail. Investigation of the matter is ongoing.
