The family told the police that their son Deepak used to work as a labourer. He had come in contact with wrong people for some time. Due to this he started borrowing money from people. Recently, the family members had collected one lakh rupees and paid off the debts of the people. He also told people not to give him loans now. If the loan is given then they will not have any responsibility. Despite this, some people, lured by interest, lent around Rs 7-8 lakh.

People started putting pressure on Deepak to take the money. Deepak started getting worried due to not being able to repay the loan. The family alleges that the people who lent the money were threatening Deepak. He was also threatening to kill. They got this information from Deepak’s mobile phone. Deepak committed suicide by hanging himself with the help of a fan in a room of the house. Police reached the spot after receiving the information, removed the body and sent it for post-mortem.
