Similarly, a dish made in the mountains is Dadim chutney. Dadim is sour in taste, hence its chutney is very delicious. While talking exclusively to Local 18, local woman Kiran Pandey tells that this chutney enhances the taste of food. The mountain people often serve it to their guests. Apart from this, Dadim chutney has a hot taste.

The taste of Dadim chutney is sweet and sour and it is delicious to eat. Its chutney is especially eaten in hilly areas. Its warm nature protects the body from cold during winter season. In the mountains, Dadim chutney is made traditionally by grinding it in a silbatta. Due to which its taste further increases. To make it, Dadim seeds, roasted cumin, coriander, black pepper, mint and salt are taken. Sugar can also be added to give it a sweet taste.
How to make Dadim Chutney
To make Dadim chutney, take a bowl of Dadim seeds, salt as per taste, half teaspoon roasted cumin, coriander and mint leaves, a pinch of black pepper and sugar as per wish. First of all, grind the Dadim seeds well in a mortar and pestle. Add salt, roasted cumin, coriander, mint and black pepper to it. Add some sugar for sweet taste and grind it well. If you want, you can also use mixer grinder. Keep the prepared chutney in a bowl to serve. It can be eaten with roti, paratha, rice or any other dish.

Dadim chutney not only enhances the taste of food but is also beneficial for digestion. Dadim is rich in antioxidants and vitamin C, which strengthens the immune system.
