The sun is reaching the mountains early in the morning, but on the other hand, fog is troubling some plain areas of the state. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for two districts regarding dense fog. People are already facing problems due to mist and fog in the plain districts of the state. Dense fog is going to create problems for people in the coming days also. Today i.e. Friday the weather is expected to be clear in all the districts. Dense fog can be seen in the plain districts in the morning.
Dr Bikram Singh, Director of Meteorological Centre, Dehradun, said that the weather in all the districts of the state will be clear on November 22. A drop in temperature can also be seen in the morning and evening. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding dense fog in Udham Singh Nagar and Haridwar districts from November 20 to November 22. This will reduce visibility, so drive carefully on the road. The maximum temperature of Dehradun today can be 27 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature can be 10 degrees Celsius. According to the department, there is a possibility of severe cold in the coming days due to falling temperature in all the districts of the state including Dehradun.
Dehradun’s minimum temperature is 11 degrees Celsius.
According to the information received from the Meteorological Center, on Thursday, the maximum temperature of Dehradun was recorded at 27.1 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 11 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of Pantnagar was 26.7 degrees and the minimum temperature was 9.6 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of Mukteshwar was 16.6 degrees while the minimum temperature was 4.6 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the maximum temperature of New Tehri was recorded at 17.5 degrees and the minimum temperature was 6.2 degrees Celsius. On Thursday, the air quality index (AQI) of Dehradun was recorded at 80, which is satisfactory.
Trains canceled due to dense fog
Let us tell you that western disturbance has become active in North India, due to which the cold has increased. In the hilly areas, the cold is increasing due to frost, while in the plains, dense fog is disturbing life. Due to dense fog in the plains of Uttarakhand, trains are arriving late by three to five hours. After the alert from the Meteorological Department, Indian Railways has canceled many trains running from Uttarakhand.
