In a series of posts on X, the singer revealed his sexuality and delivered a powerful response to trolls.
Young Dumb & Broke singer Khalid has publicly opened up about his sexuality, confirming that he is gay through a series of social media posts on November 22. The 26-year-old singer began by sharing a rainbow emoji, which many fans quickly interpreted as a big reveal. But the post sparked a wave of online trolling as well from a section of the users. Khalid responded with a tweet that said, “There you go. Next topic, please, lol.”

In follow-up tweets, Khalid made it clear that he was neither ashamed of his sexuality nor hiding it, reaffirming his openness.
While the tweet featuring the LGBTQ+ pride flag received overwhelming support from fans — some of whom said they had already aware of it— there were also those who mocked the singer.
One troll wrote, “Wait, hope Mr. Khalid isn’t GEHHH!”
Despite the admission, the singer faced a series of trolls and digs being taken at his sexuality, prompting Khalid to give a befitting response.
In a third tweet, he wrote, “I got out, and the world still continues to turn. Let’s get this straight: I am not ashamed of my sexuality! In reality, it’s nobody’s business! But I am okay with me, love yall.”
