The fraudster said- go to the bank and do RTGS
Yusufa tells that the fraudsters asked the details of all the bank accounts one by one. Instructed not to tell all these things to anyone from home to the bank. Yusufha was no longer able to transfer money through the mobile app. Then the fraudster himself told him to go to the bank and do RTGS. I was so upset that I went outside my house in Kareli with my mobile in my ear. Just walked on foot. Then reached PNB Bank by e-rickshaw.
I didn’t tell anything to my husband. Even when he was asking, he was signaled to keep quiet. I was only thinking about how my son would be. He must have been kept in jail. He must not have been beaten somewhere. These thoughts were going on in my mind.
You kept filling the forms wrongly, the manager asked – why are you nervous?
She further says – After reaching the bank by e-rickshaw, I was so nervous that I kept making mistakes in filling the RTGS form again and again. The manager also asked why she was withdrawing so much money from the pension account. But I did not tell anything.
During this time, a person claiming to be a Delhi Police officer was online. He was constantly threatening me to worry about his son. If it is late the son will go to jail. Finally I transferred another Rs 5 lakh. Even after this the fraudsters kept me under digital arrest.
Yusufa kept showing the details of the calls received on her mobile.
I said – no more money, he said – go home and send more Now Rs 5.95 lakh had reached the fraudsters. After this, demand for more money started coming. From 11 am to 2 pm, Yusuf wandered alone from Kareli to the bank of Mirapur with her mobile phone in her ear. When the fraudster said – You have to deliver the money to the officers, deposit some more. Then Yusuf said- Now there is no money in my account. She said- I am going home. I will get something transferred from my husband. Please don’t let anything happen to my son.
After this, when Yusufha returned home, seeing the expression on her face, the husband realized that something was wrong. After this the whole story started unfolding. As soon as the husband suspected fraud, he ran to the bank. Told the whole story to the manager, put a stop payment, but the money had already been withdrawn.
After this I talked to both my sons. One of my sons works in Dubai and the other in Delhi. After talking to him, my heart felt cold. We were so scared that we came to lodge an FIR 5 days after all this happened.
Yusufa says that we got so scared that we went to the police station after 5 days. Didn’t understand what to do.
The former principal said – I always traveled by car, that day I was running on foot. Dainik Bhaskar The team understood the entire incident at Yusuf’s house. Yusuf Nafees says – I have always traveled by car all my life, but I was trapped in such circumstances that I had to leave the house on foot. She moved ahead, silencing all the acquaintances she met on the way. I did not have change, gave Rs 100 to the rickshaw puller.
She cried while telling all this. He said- Everyone was afraid of me when I was the principal. She was very smart. The students were afraid. I regret that I could not understand him because of my son. My pension money is gone, no problem, but I got scared… came under pressure, it went wrong.
