Two days ago, a video of a bear’s head getting stuck in a canister had surfaced in Joshimath Parsari village. Now New Ravi Gram, a populated area of the city area, has emerged from the Garhwal Scout Army area. A female bear and her cub were creating a ruckus in the area. During this time the head of the bear cub got stuck in the canister. Seeing the child’s head stuck in the canister, the female bear became aggressive and was seen roaming around. The forest department team somehow took the child’s head out of the canister.
According to the information received, a female bear and her cub were reported creating ruckus near the army barracks in New Ravi Gram Garhwal Scout Army area. On the instructions of the DFO of Nanda Devi National Park, a special team was formed by Gaurav Negi, Forest Officer of Joshimath area. The team immediately reached the spot. Went there and saw that the bear cub’s mouth was stuck in the canister. The female bear was also seen near the child. She was getting aggressive. In view of this, the park personnel along with BS Gunsai, in-charge of the QRT rescue team of Nanda Devi National Park, kept camping in the bear affected New Ravi Gram Sena Colony continuously since Thursday midnight and somehow risking their lives, the cubs of this bear were rescued by the forest personnel. Successfully rescued. When it was light on Friday morning, the team caught the female bear cub with the help of a net and freed it.

Forest Inspector BS Gunsai of Nanda Devi National Park said that the team of forest personnel was on guard in this bear affected area after receiving the information. Due to the aggressiveness of the female bear, it had become very difficult to remove the bear cub from the canister from this army camp, but with the help of the team, finally the female bear cub was caught with the help of a net and set free safely at a safe place. Is done. After which the rescue workers of the park heaved a sigh of relief.
