Startup Incubation and Innovation Center (SIIC) of IIT Kanpur, Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, in collaboration with Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), is going to organize the ASEAN-India Start-up Festival 2024. .

The event, to be held from November 28 to 30 at Vivanta Taj, New Delhi, will bring together entrepreneurs and innovators from India and 10 ASEAN countries to strengthen global collaboration and boost innovation.
60 Indian startups and 40 ASEAN startups will be included
The event will showcase deep-tech and sustainable innovations, including ground-breaking innovations from 60 Indian startups and 40 ASEAN startups. These innovations aim to provide solutions to regional challenges and accelerate socio-economic development by focusing on advanced technologies and sustainability.
The event will be attended by many eminent personalities, including Jitendra Singh, Minister of Science and Technology, Government of India, Secretary, Department of Science and Technology, Prof. Abhay Karandikar, Director of IIT Kanpur, Prof. Manindra Agarwal, Chairman of the Committee for Geospatial Data Promotion and Development Shrikant Shastri, Ambassadors of ASEAN countries and other senior government officials and industry leaders.
The program will be organized in several sessions
The three-day event will include a range of activities including seminars, startup exhibitions, pitch competitions and networking sessions. These activities are designed to encourage B2B and G2G collaboration and advance innovation-driven economic ties.
The program will culminate with industry field visits to leading organizations in the Delhi-NCR region, providing participants an opportunity to explore India’s vibrant innovation ecosystem.
