Parmarth Niketan is a famous ashram, located on the banks of river Ganga in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. It was established in 1942 by Saint Shukdevanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj. This ashram is surrounded by natural beauty and is considered to be the largest ashram of Rishikesh. It has more than 1000 rooms. People can stay here for free. Every morning puja, yoga, meditation, satsang and lectures take place in the ashram. Apart from this, Ganga Aarti is organized in the evening, which is the main attraction here.
