Samosa lovers relish the savoury treat whether it’s winter or summer. Some shops garner loyal following, attracting customers from far and wide.
One such establishment is ‘Samosa Wala’, a renowned samosa shop located at the Bastauli intersection on the Lakhimpur Palia highway in Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur district.
Priced at a mere Rs 8, their samosas have generated considerable buzz throughout the region, drawing in a steady stream of patrons. The shop’s popularity often results in long queues, with eager customers patiently waiting for their turn to savour these sought-after delicacies.
The shop operator shared that they prepare samosas keeping their customers’ health in mind.
“Even today we prepare these samosas in Fortune oil. Samosas have been making a splash for the last 10 years. Earlier, the samosa used to cost Rs 5 here. But now the price has increased to Rs 8. More than 1,000 samosas are sold at this shop every day,” he shared.
People queue for hours to taste the renowned samosas served at ‘Samosa Wala’ with a sweet and sour chutney that elevates their flavour.
Describing the samosa’s distinctiveness, the vendor emphasised their unwavering commitment to quality.
“To make the samosa, good quality potatoes as well as homemade spices are used. This makes the samosa tastier and also does not harm health, hence the taste of the samosa becomes delicious,” he said.
