Srinagar Garhwal. Incidents of attacks by wild animals have been continuously coming to light for some time in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand. Now, to reduce the attacks by wild animals, incidents of wild animal and human conflict will also be included in the curriculum of school students. With the help of this course, students will be given information about wild animal attacks and their prevention. A curriculum has been prepared on the initiative of District Administration Pauri. This course has also been inaugurated by the district administration at the hands of the Chief Minister. Incidents of attacks by Guldar are continuously coming to light in the district. This course is being prepared to understand the behavior of wild animals and to prevent incidents.
Syllabus sent to Secretary Education
District Magistrate Garhwal Dr. Ashish Chauhan said that a committee has been formed under the chairmanship of the Chief Development Officer and a curriculum has been developed under the joint auspices of the District Education Training Institute and the Forest Department. This syllabus has been sent to the Secretary Education.
Will help in reducing attacks by wild animals
Swapnil Anirudh, DFO of Garhwal Forest Division, told Local 18 that in the last 25 years, most of the incidents of Guldar attack have involved children. Therefore, some lessons have been prepared in the curriculum of school students regarding prevention and protective measures from Guladaar. After joining whose course, one will be protected from the attacks of Guladar to a great extent. Besides, this will also help in reducing attacks by wild animals.
