Lord Shri Ram’s marriage procession reached Azamgarh and got a warm welcome.
The procession of Lord Shri Ram that started from Ayodhya was given a warm welcome when it reached the border of Azamgarh district. On this occasion, a large number of devotees also raised slogans of Lord Shri Ram. This procession of Lord Shri Ram left Ayodhya carrying water from 51 holy pilgrimage sites.

Passing through various routes, this Shri Ram Baraat will reach Janakpur in Bihar on 3rd December. On reaching Atraulia and Azamgarh, the border of Azamgarh district, a large number of devotees performed Aarti by worshiping the form of Lord Shri Ram with flower garlands.

This procession of Lord Shri Ram is going through the same route through which Lord Shri Ram’s procession went to Janakpur in Satyayug. Along with this, the procession of Lord Shri Ram goes to Janakpur every 5 years. A large number of devotees join this procession along with it. This procession of Lord Shri Ram will leave for Mau from Azamgarh on Wednesday morning.
