It is extremely cold in Badrinath Dham as the temperature here has fallen below zero. Due to such low temperature, Indradhara flowing near Badrinath Dham has also frozen. The temperature of Uttarakhand is gradually decreasing. At some places people are enjoying the lukewarm sunshine, while at some places the dense fog is troubling them. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of dense fog in some parts of the state today i.e. on November 23.
According to scientists of Dehradun-based Meteorological Center, the weather will remain dry in all the districts of Uttarakhand on November 23, but dense fog is also expected in two districts of the state. Dense fog may trouble people in some areas of Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts. Due to dense fog in the plains, drivers start facing problems. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in all the districts of Uttarakhand will remain dry on Saturday, November 23. The weather of Dehradun will also remain clear and dry. There are no chances of rain in the state. There is a possibility of moderate to dense fog at isolated places in Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar. On Saturday, the maximum temperature of Dehradun is likely to be 27 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is likely to be 10 degrees Celsius.
Know what was the temperature condition?
According to the information received from Meteorological Center Dehradun, on Friday the maximum temperature of Dehradun was recorded at 27 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 10.6 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of Pantnagar was 27.6 degrees and the minimum temperature was 9.4 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of Mukteshwar was 15.6 degrees while the minimum temperature was 5.1 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the maximum temperature of New Tehri was recorded at 16.8 degrees and the minimum temperature was 6.8 degrees Celsius. On Friday, Dehradun’s Air Quality Index (Dehradun AQI) was recorded at 74, which is satisfactory.
Broken record of last 10 years
Director of Dehradun Meteorological Center, Dr. Bikram Singh said that on the night of 21st November, the maximum temperature of the capital was recorded at 27.1 degrees and the minimum temperature was recorded at 11 degrees. In this way, the record of the last 10 years has been broken because this is the lowest temperature in the month of November. He said that further reduction in temperature will be seen in the coming days. There are chances of severe cold in Nainital, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarkashi, Chamoli.
