Let us tell you that due to power brake failure of the roadways bus in Jalalabad police station area, it hit the bike and e-rickshaw running in front of the bus. The former head riding the bike died on the spot after being hit by the bus. While the person sitting behind the bike was seriously injured.
The roadways bus coming from Shamli dropped some passengers at the bus stand near Jalalabad Police Check Post. Whereas, as the bus proceeded after loading some passengers, suddenly the power brakes and power system of the roadways bus failed near Gangoh intersection. During this the driver tried to stop the bus. But the brakes could not be applied. Due to which a bike and an e-rickshaw were hit by the bus. The e-rickshaw overturned after being hit by the bus. While former head Asif (44) son of Shamshad, who was riding the bike, and Asif son of Ikram, resident of Jhinjhana, were hit by the bus.
After being hit by the bus, the bike and e-rickshaw were dragged for several meters. Former head Asif died on the spot. While his companion Asif who was riding on the bike, resident of Jhinjhana was seriously injured. The e-rickshaw driver saved his life by jumping before the e-rickshaw overturned. Immediately after the bus stopped, in view of any untoward incident, the bus driver and conductor ran to Jalalabad police post and saved their lives. In the past too, many accidents have occurred due to encroachment on the road.
Police reached the spot long after the incident. The police waited for the ambulance for a long time. But the ambulance could not reach the spot. The police took the injured and the deceased in a police jeep to the police station building hospital. During this time, there was a long traffic jam of vehicles on both sides of the Delhi-Saharanpur Highway.
Nagar Panchayat President Zaheer Malik reached the spot. Seeing the blood of the deceased lying on the road, the Nagar Panchayat President gave instructions to the Nagar Panchayat employee and sent a water tanker to clean the road.
