Ravindra Singh Mer, pediatrician of this hospital of Nainital, says that the cold has increased in Nainital, hence the virus is spreading among children also.

Doctor Mer says that nowadays children are suffering from cold, cough, cold, vomiting and diarrhea. This viral disease is called cold diarrhea and it spreads among children. He told that about 60 to 70 OPDs are coming to the hospital every day. Of these, about 40 to 50 percent are cases of cold diarrhea. Doctor Mer says that along with cold diarrhoea, pneumonia is also occurring in children due to cold. In such a situation, children can be saved from this disease by taking some precautions in this cold season.

Regarding increasing cold and increasing cases of cold diarrhea, Dr. Mer says that cold diarrhea is a type of viral, which spreads among children. Its initial symptoms are cold, cough, mild fever, vomiting and diarrhea. If the child sees any of these symptoms, he should consult a doctor. One should not be afraid of this virus. It gets better on its own. Just take care of the child’s eating habits. Also, doctor’s advice should be taken. Medicines should be given to the child only on the advice of the doctor. Cough syrup should not be given to children.
