Xiaomi’s Redmi 14R has been launched. This is the company’s latest budget smartphone which has Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. This phone works on Android 14 and Xiaomi’s Hyper OS skin is available on top of it. The most special feature of the phone can be called its battery, because users will get a 5,160mAh battery with 18W charging support. Before proceeding further, know that this phone has currently been launched in China, and there is no information yet as to when it will be launched in India.
In terms of features, this phone has a 6.68-inch HD + LCD display, which has 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 600nits. This phone is equipped with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, which is paired with up to 8GB of RAM.
As a camera, Redmi 14R has a 13-megapixel primary camera, and there is no information about the secondary sensor provided with it yet. It has a 5-megapixel front camera in a waterdrop-style notch at the front for selfies and video calling.
Users are given 256GB of internal storage in this latest Redmi 14R. For power, Redmi 14R has a 5,160mAh battery with 18W charging support.
As connectivity options, it has 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also has a side mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
How much is this latest phone?
The price of Xiaomi Redmi 14R starts at CNY 1,099 (approximately Rs 13,000) for the base model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is also available in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB configurations, which are priced at CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs 17,700) and CNY 1,699 (approximately Rs 20,100) respectively. Its high-end variant 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at CNY 1,899 (approximately Rs 22,500).
