Dehradun. In Uttarakhand (Uttarakhand Weather Today), the weather has remained dry across the state due to lack of rain since the monsoon has passed. Dry cold is troubling people in the state. It is getting hot in the capital Dehradun due to bright sunshine in the afternoon. It is cold there in the morning and evening. According to the Meteorological Department, western disturbances are likely to become active in the state soon, due to which the weather may change in the Himalayan regions. There may be rain in the mountainous areas, this is likely to increase the cold. There may be snowfall in high altitude areas. According to Dr. Bikram Singh, Director of Dehradun-based Meteorological Center, the weather will remain dry in all the districts of Uttarakhand on Wednesday, November 27, while there is a possibility of frost in the mountains and fog in the plains in the next few days.
The maximum temperature of Dehradun today is expected to be 25 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 9 degrees Celsius. At the same time, due to the activation of Western Disturbance from November 29, changes in weather can be seen in the Himalayan regions. There will be a drop in temperature due to rain and snowfall.

According to the information received from Meteorological Center Dehradun, on Tuesday the maximum temperature of the capital was recorded at 25 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 10.2 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of Pantnagar was 25.8 degrees and the minimum temperature was 9.2 degrees Celsius. Whereas the maximum temperature of Mukteshwar was 15.5 degrees while the minimum temperature was 4.2 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of New Tehri was recorded at 16.6 degrees and the minimum temperature was 5.7 degrees Celsius. On Tuesday, the air quality index (Dehradun AQI) of Dehradun was recorded at 121, which falls in the moderate category. Air pollution is not reducing due to absence of rain. According to the Meteorological Department, due to rain in the coming days, there will be a decline in the AQI level of Dehradun.
