Motorola Edge 50 Neo has been launched in India. The company has launched this phone at a price of Rs 23,999, which is for its 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The most special thing about this phone is that at this price, it will be the first phone which will get five years of Android OS upgrade. It has also been said that a discount of Rs 1,000 will be given to the customers on the phone, for which the customers will have to use HDFC bank card. The Motorola Edge 50 Neo features a 6.4-inch 1.5K (2670 x 1220 pixels) pOLED LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 3,000 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
Software-wise, Moto Edge 50 Neo works on Android 14 with Hello UI out of the box. The company promises to provide five years of OS and security updates to the users in the phone, which means that even if you get bored while using the phone, it will remain as new as it gets fresh updates for five years.
How is the camera of the new phone?
As a camera, this phone has a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 700C primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 13-megapixel ultra-wide/macro camera and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom at the back. For selfie, you get 32 megapixel front camera in Motorola Edge 50 Neo.
For power, the new Motorola phone has a 4,310mAh battery with 68W wired fast and 15W wireless charging. For connectivity, the Edge 50 Neo has dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, NFC, USB Type-C port and in-display fingerprint sensor.
