A monthly review meeting of prosecution work was organized under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Neha Sharma in the Collectorate Auditorium in Gonda. In the meeting, the DM stressed the need to take the prosecution work more seriously and said that especially in serious cases,

The DM also said that 100 percent evidence should be examined from the witnesses in the court, so that the prosecution can be strengthened. Also, monitoring of proper appeal process in acquittal cases should be ensured.
The District Magistrate appealed to all the government officials and advocates to show full seriousness in their departmental work as well as in the prosecution work and with their cooperation the justice system should be further strengthened. He talked about ensuring that there is no laxity in the prosecution work, so that justice can be fully implemented.
Additional District Magistrate Alok Kumar, Senior Prosecution Officer, Designated Officer of Food Safety and Drug Administration Ajit Kumar Mishra, Drug Inspector Razia Bano, District Supply Officer and other government advocates and concerned officers were present in this meeting.
