Srinagar Garhwal. A case of negligence has come to light in Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. Due to the absence of a teacher, locks were seen hanging on the doors of the classrooms in Government Primary School Suansal of Thalisain block of the district and the students returned home without studying. The parents of the students alleged that the teacher remains missing from the school every day. Regarding this attitude of the teacher, the parents of the students also complained to the education department about the teacher. Parents in PTA demanded action against the teacher. Parents say that if action is not taken against the teacher as soon as possible, they will launch a violent protest.
Due to the teacher not reaching the school every day, students of Government Primary School Suansal of development block Thalisain are returning without studying. School PTA President Virendra Bhandari, villagers Puran Singh, Nandan Singh told that at present there are teachers posted in the school, who keep the school closed every day. Due to which the education of students is being completely affected. He said that 14 students used to study in the school but due to the negligence of the teacher, 6 students have left the school. Now only 8 students are studying in the school.
Orders given to investigate the matter
Pauri in-charge CEO Ranjit Singh Negi said that a complaint was received about the closure of Government Primary School, Suansal on Wednesday. The investigation of the case has been handed over to the BEO of Thalisain. The investigation report will come out soon. If the teacher is found guilty in the investigation, then strict action will be taken against him. We assure parents of action. At present the parents are waiting for the investigation report. He says that if action is not taken against the teachers, they will take to the streets for the education of their children.
