The maid first mixed intoxicants in the soup and gave it to a reputed businessman of the city and his wife. After this his path was clear. He committed the theft. Then by the time the guards arrived, the maid ran away with her two other companions.
What did the maid do?
According to the information, in the house of Haldwani’s reputed book dealer Puran and Sons, his maid stole the house of building owner Deepak Aggarwal and his wife Meenakshi by giving them intoxicants in the soup. Shortly after the theft, the maid left the house with her two companions. After the guard reached the house, the family members were informed. After which Deepak Aggarwal and his wife Meenakshi were immediately given treatment. After a long time both the couples regained consciousness.
Was hired from Delhi agency
According to the information, on November 12, the marriage of his son was held at the house of a well-known businessman of Haldwani. His son had gone on honeymoon with his wife. Only the Agarwal couple were in the house. The maid was hired by the businessman’s sister from a private company in Delhi and sent to Haldwani. The maid along with her two other accomplices committed theft in the house. The police have also taken into their custody the hammer used to break the cupboard along with other things.
The stolen amount and jewelery have not been revealed yet. It is also being told by the family members that an attempt was made to break the locker in the room where there was more jewelery and cash. But due to the arrival of the guards, he could not succeed in his plans. The name of the guard is said to be Harish, as soon as he arrived, the maid ran away with her two other companions. The team of forensic experts said that they have taken possession of the cupboard breaking weapons and other materials which were scattered there.

Police searching for maid
SP City Prakash Chandra said that the elderly couple does not want to bring the matter before the media, hence they have not even filed the complaint yet. The maid who viciously carried out the theft in the businessman’s house is currently absconding. After this the police have started their investigation. Police are taking cognizance of the matter and examining the CCTV footage. The maid is being searched through surveillance.
