74 people had already joined the group Srijan Dharia, resident of Antriksh Forest Society, Sector-77, had lodged an FIR in the cyber crime police station on 26 November. Told them that his company is reliable and it gives huge profits by investing in the stock market. After this he was added to the group on the app. A total of 73 people joined the group. There were photos on the DP in police uniform.
7.66 lakh transferred in 36 days He told the police that initially he was given training for a few days. After this everyone in the group started trading. In the same sequence, the complainant’s father also started trading. Information about investing in the stock market was visible on the group. Between October 15 and November 21, his father transferred Rs 7 crore 66 lakh to various bank accounts.
Deposited Rs 3 crore and withdrew Rs 23 crore On November 21, the company’s mentor Meera Dutt messaged that her trading session had ended. Therefore the company’s commission is Rs 3 crore. By depositing it, funds worth Rs 23 crore can be withdrawn and sent to his account. The accused put pressure on his father to transfer Rs 3 crore. The victim started getting suspicious on this. After this the victim lodged a complaint on the Home Ministry’s portal NCRP. After this, he called 1930 and lodged a complaint.
11 accounts were frozen Cyber crime station in-charge inspector Vijay Kumar Gautam said that after receiving the information, immediate action was taken and 11 bank accounts were frozen. One crore two lakh rupees deposited in them were made free. All the bank accounts are from West Bengal. Efforts are being made to get the deposited amount back.
