68-year-old Haji Inam Ilahi Qureshi, resident of Mohalla Kotla Mewatian of City Kotwali area of Hapur, has accused his wife and her family members of grabbing property worth crores of rupees. Police registered a case against four people including his wife on the complaint of the victim.

Second marriage became the root of trouble
Haji Inam Ilahi told that his first wife had passed away and he had no children. On the insistence of his family, he married Azra Parveen of Ghaziabad for the second time. After marriage, Azra served him well and won his trust. Inam Ilahi says that due to being a diabetes patient, he often remained weak and sleepy. During this time, his wife Azra fraudulently got his 400 square yard house in her name. After this, Azra took him to Ghaziabad, where he bought a flat after being persuaded by her.
Family members cheated
The victim told that Azra’s elder brother Ajmat, sister Shabnam and acquaintance Aslam also cheated him. He gave Rs 20 lakh to Ajmat for business and also handed over 650 grams of gold. Aslam committed fraud of Rs 15 lakh.
FIR registered, investigation ongoing
City Kotwali police have registered a case against wife Azra Parveen, her brother Azmat, sister Shabnam and acquaintance Aslam on the complaint of the victim. CO Jitendra Sharma said that the allegations are serious and the police is investigating the matter thoroughly.
