A case of dispute between two parties regarding money transaction has come to light in Bisalpur police station area of Pilibhit. One party has complained to the police, accusing the other of demanding extortion and threatening. Police have started investigation in the matter.

Sarla Devi, a resident of Mohalla Dubey, lodged a complaint at Bisalpur police station on Saturday. Sarla Devi alleged that a young man named Rupesh Joshi along with his two associates came to her house and started inquiring about her son Shivam.
Rupesh threatened that if he did not get the money by the next day, he would kill Shivam and the entire family. Sarla Devi alleges that the accused is of domineering nature and it is his job to demand extortion.
CCTV footage was also presented
Sarla Devi also handed over CCTV footage to the police to confirm the incident. The activities of the accused and his associates are recorded in the footage.
Police said- matter of transaction
Preliminary investigation into the matter revealed that the dispute is over money transactions between the two parties. The police have intensified the investigation of the case by recording the statements of both the parties.
CO Bisalpur Prateek Dahiya said, “A case has been registered on the basis of the complaint received in the matter. In the initial investigation, this case appears to be a mutual transaction. However, the truth will come out only after in-depth investigation.”
