It is called Badi Puri. At some places it is also known as Hathi Kaan Puri. The size of a puri is bigger than a leaf. How is this special puri made?
The big confectioner who has been making this puri for 25 years says that this puri is completely different from the home made puri. Its flour is mixed with water and pure ghee or refined oil and rubbed for a long time. After that, big balls are cut and given a big round shape with a rolling pin. Finally it is fried in boiling refined oil. After that, it is kept slightly cooled so that the puri does not get spoiled by the steam water.

According to the residents of Ballia (Chetan Singh and Vikas Singh), the taste of this puri is completely different. There is a wait that when a big event is organized somewhere and one gets to eat this big puri. It cannot be praised enough. Eating this puri fills the stomach but does not fill the heart.
