Government telegram was stolen from a warehouse located near Nathuniya turn in Tulsipur police station area of Balrampur. Contractor Uday Pratap Shukla had filed a complaint in this regard at Tulsipur police station and informed about the theft. According to the contractor, the thieves stole wire worth Rs 7 lakh and loaded it in a pickup and ran away. The workers working at the warehouse were also threatened. But, the pickup overturned near a pond on the way, due to which the wires loaded in it and a young man were also buried. The youth was identified as 31-year-old Vinod Kumar, a resident of Rehra village under Masihabad police station area of Balrampur.

On receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot and seized the pickup and the body. Two police teams have been formed and investigation has been started. Police are also investigating who else may be involved in this theft. CO Tulsipur Rakesh Kumar Singh said that the deceased youth has been identified and information is being collected from the family members and the pickup owner. The police will soon collect concrete information in the case and take action to arrest the accused.
