Mary Kom was present as the chief guest at the annual sports festival of Sant Fidelis School.
The annual sports festival was organized on Sunday at Sant Fidelis Senior Secondary School, Talanagari, Aligarh. International women boxer Padma Vibhushan MC Mary Kom was present as the chief guest, who encouraged the players and encouraged the sports.

The female boxer first introduced the players and then started the competitions by blowing balloons. During this, he addressed the students and also told about the struggle of his life. Then sports competitions took place between different houses of the school. In this the team of Blue House of the school became the winner. The guests honored him with awards.

During this, the children of Sant Fidelis Junior Wing Class 1 won everyone’s hearts by giving a captivating dance performance. They performed Zumba dance and forced everyone to clap. Small children came to the field together in colorful clothes and with rings in their hands and presented a spectacular dance to the tune of music. Which was appreciated a lot by the people.

Glimpses of different states
During the sports festival, glimpses of states like Rajasthan, Goa and Punjab were also seen in the programme. School students presented folk dances on songs from different states and enthralled the guests and audience. The students added charm to the program by performing Rajasthani dance. Before the Rajasthani dance, students enlivened the atmosphere by performing Bhangara. Children performed Bhangra and Gidda in traditional costumes of Punjab.

Udayraj Solanki and Priyanshi Bhardwaj received the best athlete award in the senior category. The best title in the junior category was given to Mohd. Abuzar Zafar, Saumya Maria won their names. Abhi Yadan, Kavya Singh were chosen as the best athletes in the sub-junior category. Udayraj Solanki and Saumya Maria were the best players in basketball, Sparsh Bhardwaj was the best football player, Parth Gaur was the best chess player and Ku. Radhika, the best table tennis player was Devansh Jindal, Suhana Singh, the best carrom player was Prakhar Gupta and Riddhima Bajpai.
With this, Prince secured first position and Shivansh Pratap secured second position. Sarthak secured first position in the cycle race. Blue House stood first in the relay. Red House secured first position in relay race girls. In the 100 meter race, Harshita Singh and Abhi Yadav secured the first place and won the winner’s trophy. All the winners were honored by the guests with prizes.
