This show is among the longest running shows on TV. ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ has been surrounded by controversies for the last several years. Many stars of the old star cast of the show distanced themselves from it. Along with leaving ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, the actors have also made many allegations against the show’s producer Asit Modi.
Some have made serious allegations against Asit Modi like not paying money and some have made serious allegations like sexual harassment. Many actors like Disha Vakani, Sailesh Lodha, Bhavya Gandhi, Raj Anadkat stepped away from the show. Many stars accused Asit Modi of not paying money even after months of getting the work done. Palak accused Asit Modi of harassment
Palak Sindhwani played the role of Sonu in the show and the actress left the show some time ago. The makers had accused the actress of breaking the contract. After leaving Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Palak has accused producer Asit Modi of mental harassment and non-payment.
Told the actress about her daughter
Asit Modi has given his reaction on these serious allegations in a recent interview. He says in an interview given to ETimes that he considers Palak as his daughter and he is deeply hurt by the allegations made by her. She says, ‘Whenever an actor leaves my show, I feel very bad’.
Producer claims to consider all the actors as family
He further says, ‘I consider all the actors as part of my family. I am very hurt after Palak Sindhwani left the show. She is like my daughter and I always take great care of her. Every actor who has worked in ‘Taarak Mehta…’ is like my family.
Asit Modi further explains that despite the allegations leveled against him, he does not hold any hatred in his mind for anyone. He makes a show which spreads positivity and happiness in the society. Therefore, they do not hold anger or resentment against anyone in their mind.
Let us tell you, Asit Modi has been surrounded in controversies for many years. Amidst allegations of non-payment of money by many artists, serious allegations like sexual harassment have been leveled against the producer.
