The actress, ever since being a part of the show’s Season 14, has allegedly been critical of the actor. Why? The backlash she received during her stint. It all started when YouTuber Maxtern dropped a post on X wherein he mentioned Vivek Oberoi’s net worth. The post read, “Vivek Oberoi has a net worth of Rs 1200 cr which is higher than that of Ranbir Kapoor and Allu Arjun.” Resharing the same, Kavita Kaushik wrote, “A superb actor, stood up for his woman, fought against the biggest speaking truth…. but we as a country are charmed with Swag, dadagiri and roasting.” Although she did not directly mention Salman Khan’s name, fans believe that she took a veiled dig at the actor.

Reportedly, Kavita Kaushik was disappointed with her negative portrayal on Bigg Boss 14 wherein she was a wild card contestant. During her time on the show, Kavita locked horns with several contestants including Eijaz Khan, Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla, eventually walking out of the show after an intense fight. In her past interviews, Kavita also refused having a good rapport with Salman Khan claiming that the actor was disinterested in listening to her side of the story on the show. Speaking with Bollywood Hungama, the actress said, “He doesn’t listen. He is not interested.”
Also expressing her regret about participating in the controversial reality show, Kavita Kaushik added, “I had a really bad experience. I still feel sick sometimes thinking about it. I puke and stuff, so yeah.”
Earlier this year, Kavita Kaushik had also announced her departure from the TV industry saying that she was no longer interested in the daily soaps and shows on the small screen due to the regressive content. She had told Times Now, “There was a time when TV was progressive and we had different kinds of shows. But now, the kind of content we’re showing is really bad for the young generations to watch. I have been a part of it as well and I am very sorry. I have contributed to that regression in some way. I don’t approve of what they show on television.”
Workwise, Kavita Kaushik won hearts with her role in FIR, Tota Weds Maina, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8 and many others.
