Students of Lucknow University joined the procession near IT intersection, 500 meters away from there. When he started dancing with the wedding procession, he was protested. Controversy increased regarding this. A fierce fight broke out between both the sides.

The family members of the bride and groom were present on the spot who were extremely hurt by this entire incident. On the other hand, after the police detained a student, the university students created a ruckus.

Spoiled the atmosphere by joining the wedding procession Vicky Sonkar, who was involved in the wedding procession, said that we were coming with the wedding procession of our nephew Rishabh. Meanwhile, a short distance away from the marriage hall, 15 to 20 boys joined the wedding procession. Within no time they started fighting.

They were attacking with whatever they had in their hands. There was heavy stone pelting by the students. Several rounds of firing took place. 7 to 8 rounds of hand shells were thrown, causing an atmosphere of panic all around.

The students of Lucknow University ruined everything. Under the influence of alcohol, they misbehaved with the women and beat them fiercely. All our guests ran away. Food had been arranged for 3 thousand people and no one had the food. 20 people were injured in the attack, out of which five were seriously injured and have been admitted to the hospital. Our demand is that all the accused students should be expelled from Lucknow University and strict action should be taken against them as they are goons in the form of students.

Police engaged in action
Regarding the related matter, ADCP Central Manisha Singh said that a dispute took place in the middle of the marriage ceremony, after which the police reached the spot. Maintained peace and order. People injured in the dispute are being given medical treatment. As soon as the complaint is received, investigation will be done and action will be taken. A student was detained on the spot. Further action will be taken after investigation.
