Ahead of the D-day, the couple began their pre-wedding festivities, marked by different traditional ceremonies. Several pictures and videos from the couple’s Mangala snanam (haldi ceremony) are now being widely shared on social media. Additionally, Sobhita’s glimpses from her pellikuthuru ceremony, a traditional bridal shower of sorts, are also winning hearts. When The Rumour Began
In October 2021, Naga Chaitanya and his former wife Samantha separated after 4 years of marriage. A few months later in 2022, the actor was spotted with Sobhita Dhulipala at his Hyderabad house. Reportedly, the two looked comfortable with each other as Chaitanya gave Sobhita a tour of his new home. Hours later, they left the home together, thus marking the onset of the rumours.
About The First Picture
In March 2023, a picture shared by Michelin Star Chef Surender Mohan at his restaurant in London saw him posing with Naga Chaitanya. Eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot Sobhita in the background, sitting at a table. This picture was later deleted. It was the same month when a source close to the couple revealed they realised their love for each other during the London holiday.

During an earlier interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan, the actor was asked to share a few words about Sobhita. Replying, he simply said, “I am just gonna smile.”
Jungle Safari
In April this year, Sobhita Dhulipala dropped a photo dump on Instagram. It included a selfie and additional pictures, seemingly clicked by the one sitting by her side on the jeep. A day later, Chaitanya also posted a picture, enjoying the sunset on a safari jeep. As the fans connected the dots, they were quick to highlight the similarity.
Europe Vacay
A month after enjoying a jungle safari, Sobhita and Chaitanya flew to Europe for an exotic vacation. While the duo refrained from posting any picture, a photo of them enjoying a wine tasting surfaced on the Internet. In another clip, the lovebirds were also seen walking on the streets with shopping bags in hand, making fans go gaga over them.
Engagement
Surprising fans, Sobhita and Chaitanya took the plunge and exchanged rings in the presence of their family and friends. Nagarjuna posted some sweet pictures from their ring ceremony with a note that read, “We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!!
