Till now you must have watched the film in Garhwali and Kumaoni languages, but now you will soon be able to watch the film ‘Maerey Gaon Ki Baat’ in Jaunsari language. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched the promo and poster of the film. The Uttarakhand government is already making various efforts including film policy to promote regional films of the state. Its purpose is to provide financial support to the directors and producers working to save their culture. For this, the government is also giving 30 percent grant amount.
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said on this occasion that the government is trying to provide full support for the production and promotion of films promoting regional culture and language and after the formation of Uttarakhand, the first Jaunsari feature film of the state is being made. It is a matter of great happiness for us. With this, the culture of Jaunsar Bawar will be seen more closely. CM Dhami has appealed to the people to come to see this film as much as possible so that our regional films can be promoted. He further said that the government is emphasizing not only on films but also on further developing the tourist places of Jaunsar area. He said that after Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave the replica of Hanol Temple, work is being done on making the master plan of Hanol Temple. After this, Jaunsar Bawar will become an important destination for pilgrims and tourists.
‘Marai Gaon Ki Baat’ movie releasing on 5th December
The culture, heritage and traditions of Jaunsar will be seen in Uttarakhand’s first Jaunsari feature film ‘Marai Gaon Ki Baat’. Based on the concept of KS Chauhan, this film has been directed by Anuj Joshi. The unique traditions and customs of Jaunsar region of Uttarakhand attract people, due to which people want to see the culture here but the people here want to live a life of simplicity, away from the glitz. Although there are many great scenes in this film, but one scene is going to be liked by the audience very much, in which the wedding ceremony, procession and the bride and groom are shown. In this you will find something different that it is not the groom who brings the wedding procession but the bride brings the wedding procession. This unique culture has been going on in Jaunsar for centuries, on which excellent filming has been done. The film was shot in Fateu, Ichchla, Jhuso, Bhakro villages of Jaunsar Bawar. Apart from this, the special festival of Jaunsar ‘Baria Ka Jaag’ has also been shown in it. Only local artists will be seen acting in it. This film is being released on 5th December.
