I was wondering what type of person Devendra would be, because I had a very negative image in my mind about leaders. But after meeting him, this fear disappeared because I saw that he is a very genuine and down to earth person.

However, according to Amrita, Devendra is not that ‘romantic’. Some time ago, in an interview given to Sonali Bendar in Marathi, Amrita had revealed that ‘Devendra is not romantic at all.’ Amrita had said that it is difficult to have fun with him because he is very practical and is always busy in his work. Amrita told Sonali Bendar that they were romantic neither before marriage nor after. He knows only politics. They don’t like or understand romance that much.
