The third convocation of Rama University, Mandhana Kanpur will be organized with great pomp and show on 8th December. Degrees will be awarded to 1935 students of batch 2023 and 2024 at the ceremony. Chief guest of the program, Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath

51 students will be awarded PhD degrees by the Chief Minister. 84 students will be given gold medals and 41 will be given silver medals.

Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana and Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay will attend the ceremony as special guests. Also, Rama University Rajya Sabha member and Founder-Vice President Infosys Group Sudha Murthy will be honored with an honorary degree. However, due to health reasons Sudha Murthy will not participate in the program. This information was given by Dr. Pranav Singh, Director of Rama University.

She said that she will relate to the students through video graphy. Meanwhile, DM Rakesh Singh and Police Commissioner Akhil Kumar have visited the institute regarding the preparations for the program. Also took stock of the preparations being done in the institute along with the venue of the programme. What arrangements need to be made regarding security were also considered.
A new medical college will also be inaugurated.
New medical college will be inaugurated Dr. Pranab informed that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also inaugurate the Dr. BS Kushwaha Institute of Medical Sciences in Lakhanpur. This institute will be affiliated to Atal Bihari Bajpai Medical University. Admission will be done on 150 seats through NEET. Presently Rama Group has maximum 800 seats including Medical Graduation and Post Graduation.
