Almora News: Interest in dance and singing, ‘Aarambh 2’ going to be held in Almora

Almora. There is a good news for the lovers of dance and singing in Almora, the cultural city of Uttarakhand. There is going to be a dance and singing competition in the city. This program is being organized by D Shadow Performing Art Academy, which has been named Aarambh-2. This competition will be held on 15th December at Shikhar Hotel, Almora. A registration fee of ₹ 300 has been kept for the people participating in this competition. Junior and senior categories have been kept in the competition, in which people between 3 years to 15 years and above 15 years can participate.

Ajay Kumar, organizer of Aarambh-2 competition, said while talking to Local 18 that he has D Shadow Academy in Almora. Nowadays the young generation is going towards drugs. School children are the target of drug smugglers because they are their easy prey. To ensure that they do not go towards drugs, their attention should be focused on positive activities, hence such activities are organized by their academy. Auditions will be held on 15th December at Shikhar Hotel, then the final performance will be held on 22nd December at Malla Mahal, Almora. He told that till now about 25 people have registered themselves in the dance and singing competition and they can register till December 14.

He said that in future, if children participate in dance and singing competitions, then such events provide them a good platform and they also get to know and learn a lot. If any child comes to their academy, a recognized certificate is also given. In this competition, prize money has also been kept for dancing and singing.
