New Delhi. The latest episode of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 16’ started with a new lineup of contestants and host Amitabh Bachchan playing the Fastest Finger first round. Tejas Sharadkumar Deshmukh from Thane, Maharashtra reached the hot seat. Tejas works as a senior manager in a technology company. The contestants were successful in winning Rs 1,60,000 with the help of all their lifelines and knowledge and then they decided.
After Tejas left the show, Amitabh Bachchan played another round of Fastest Finger First and Dhanraj Dhirubhai Modi took the hot seat. Dhanraj revealed how he considers ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ as his family and had even sent his wedding invitation to the KBC team. Host Big B revealed that he did not inform him about the marriage otherwise he would have definitely congratulated him. Dhanraj is from Somnath, Gujarat and is preparing for GPSC (Gujarat Public Service Commission) exam. Along with this, he also looks after his father’s coconut farming.
When the director told Amitabh to climb a tree
Hearing about coconut farming, Big B remembered his 1973 film ‘Saudagar’ with Nutan. She played the character of ‘Moti’ in this film directed by Sudhendu Roy. Recalling the film, he said, ‘Initially we had done a film ‘Saudagar’, in which we used to extract coconut water and juice… I was told that you will have to climb the tree, I said brother, how will we climb, it is very difficult. . No one will teach them, they tie a leather on their back and they go round from the front… they push forward and climb further… there were a lot of things… the most dangerous thing is that they cut into the tree. It is protruding, it will get stuck if you come down quickly…’

Big B asked Dhanraj whether he too has ever tried to climb a tree? On this, Dhanraj said jokingly, ‘No sir, I only go to drink coconut water.’ Hearing this, not only Amitabh but other people also could not stop themselves from laughing.
Amitabh Bachchan is superstitious
At the same time, after a question related to cricket, Amitabh said that I do not watch India’s match against any team. Amitabh Bachchan replied with a funny tip and shared a lesson that his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan taught him as a child, ‘Ek Chup, 100 Sukh. Why did we open our mouth? He further jokingly said that if ever asked to cook food, just nod in agreement and then just go out and bring food from outside.
